This education may include paying a contractor a couple hundred bucks to walk through a property with you, take notes and ask questions.If you expect us to be the architect, the designer, the inspector, and the contractor I think a small fee is pretty fair.Giving the right estimate has nothing to do with it, contractors have different overhead costs (more professional ones may have an office staff, professional office/warehouse, ect.), different labor costs, It really all comes down to you get what you pay for.

For investors who bill back, what billing methodology do you use and what corresponding regulation do you have to follow (certified DS1 water system operator on staff, monthly sampling programs, annual CCRs, rate tarriffs, etc.)?

The insurance company has a portal where the tenant signs up, the tenant gets billed $12-$15 per month tied to their rent, and the landlord will get a % of the premium credited back towards the master policy.Not a huge money maker, but if you have hundereds or thousands of units, this is less expensive than having office staff track if the policies are in place.
