I live in a college town, student / football weekend rentals are my niche.

This house in its present state is at least 700k in my home town austin, but I an afraid to speculate in a foreign market to me like ogden.

Here in Cincinnati, I've had more than a few customers ask questions about my vehicle because it's a more conservative town.  

Just be open to it and keep your eyes open ;-) Maybe I'll see you around town. 

I put my first-ever yellow letter in the mail today to the owner of a property I found while driving around town (driving for dollars).

My wife and I just purchased what we see as our "forever home" (5.5 acres in town at the back of a quiet cul-de-sac) and we're moving to that property in roughly 75-90 days.

Then you will find yourself paying a premium for property taxes in this area (this is in part because the town is on a downward slide due to not much commerce and a declining population). 

I thought of that, but it does not 'fit' the town home.  

Well anyway, I get a lead from my pest control guy about some boarded up houses on the other side of town and decide to go check them out and figure I'll keep my eye out for other houses too.
