Not sure there.He is in it a couple of weeks, and is now ready to be the Wholesailing King of the World.Sounds like he still doesn't know what hebis talking about, although they teach him investing lingo, so he feels confident.This feels like a pure scam to me, but if anyone has any positive experiences, I'd be excited to hear!

Thanks for the input, I didn't mention that house 2 is closer to me than house 1 and initially I was thinking of self managing.

@Gonzalo Sequeira The best analogy I can provide was provided to me by a mortgage broker friend: "If you're in the market to buy a Mercedes (conventional loan on attractive terms), you don't go to the Honda dealership (FHA loans)."

Even if I started investing locally, it would all be out of state to me in a couple years anyway.

Realistically, an applicants credit isn't as big a deal to me personally as their job, references, living situation (do they have kids, dogs, etc).

This is very surprising to me that an email to them went unanswered - please forward you communication to [email protected] to me ([email protected]) so that we can get to the bottom of this. 

This happened to me somewhat last year with a house in the Belvedere area. 

If possible, specifically explain to me if there are contingencies on portfolio loans you've used in the past?

I'll have to look more into the pooled money vehicle you mentioned, it sounds new to me.
