Install new tar paper, shingles as well as vent as per instructions.If this is the first experience you've had with repairing roofs I would definitely consider having someone do this for you.

It may add to the property value and future resale value but from what Ive read, overall  pool cost doesn't recoup on resale....So whats does a pickle ball court cost to put in vs a pool?

In my experience, once you really get rolling, aside from contractors, a good CPA and attorney are vital.
