It's difficult to get an STR permit from the city (STR defined by City of Austin as less than 30 consecutive days), so I recommend renting for 30+ days at a time to families relocating to Austin or remote works who want to "vacation" in Austin while continuing to work.

Under this structure, if a tenant or prospective tenant brings a lawsuit related to management activities (e.g. housing discrimination), the lawsuit should be against Property Management, LLC, not Multifamily Properties, LLC, which holds the real property asset.

Once the financing is set up, you can begin to narrow your focus based on what price-point you'd like to stay within.House-flipping involves:-marketing for a deal OR paying someone to find a deal for you-renovating the property - dealing with contractors, local municipalities for permits/violations, etc.
