My Question is how do I go about negotiating this lien down with the county.

I want to find out if my firm's service is something that would be helpful to homeowner associations.My firm, B&W, specializes in negotiating with vendors, including building contractors.  

The fee is not negotiable nor can the services it supposedly provides be shopped for in the market place.

@Danielle Cage I would suggest that when you negotiate your operating agreement imagine, if you can, that it has all gone wrong and you need to break up the pieces of the business.

Your job is harder due to the need to displace your landlord, unless you are willing to leave her in place as a renter for a set period of time. anything is negotiable!

(I'm actually asking)  Here's my take: -Lawyers are good advisors as they will raise some 'angles' that you or I might not have thought of-A Gold Rule: "Everything is negotiable", and it would be prudent to ask your investors what their expectations are. 

We could have gotten it for $1.6MM had we gone to the negotiating table.I invest because I want to own the most precious commodity in the world.

Remember everything in real estate is negotiable including commission fees and who pays them.

I've read that many women tend not to negotiate as much as men.

Some states require disclosure at first contact of any kind, some "prior to any substantive negotiations".
