@Allan Anderton You would refi so you can pull your cash back out to reinvest into the next deal and continue to recycle your capital over and over again to ultimately grow your portfolio.

Dexter has been one of the fastest growing markets in Southeast, MI and is a great little town.

Real estate is tough, expensive, time consuming, and if you aren't driven, you'll just be another person who  tries it and fails.

Short-term under performance shouldn't be a concern if you've bought in a growing market at a low basis. 

LG has lots of rural parts and a population of maybe 5,000, but it’s a good area and it’s certainly growing.

In addition, the fact it is the norm to have the ACs enclosed (as to not have copper wiring stolen) was a red flag for me.It definitely works for some investors & they do well out there, however you’d really have to prove to me it was a good long term growing economy.
