I currently own a town home in Peel Region (for those of you who don't know the GTA it is North-West of Toronto) and a condo that is currently under construction located in North Toronto. i have been fortunate enough to make some extra profit in the stock market (thank you cannabis stocks) and am looking to use those profits for another potential rental property.

I do manage it myself from out of state but am fortunate that the rental market is a strong one for military members looking to sign 3 years leases.  

Disclaimer: I Know very little about Fortune Builders, both from a product perspective, and as a company. 

I was very fortunate on my first home to purchase with significant equity the first time around, made about 17k in remodels, and sold for a pretty sizable gain.

Due to us being fortunate enough to obtain scholarships for our undergrads, we have been able to pile away more than enough cash to keep a hefty emergency fund, pay closing costs on a large duplex, and even be ready to find another deal in Middle Tennessee! 

Fortunately, I had done my research and felt very comfortable with what I was getting into, and albeit with mistakes and hiccups along the way, I ended up with more than double my original anticipated profit (my estimate was 30K).

Fortunately, there are SO many people on here that do it already.

Barring a few major CapEx items like new furnace/ACs, we have been fortunate and doing well based on this. 

I am currently a Project Specialist for a Fortune 40 company I estimate, contract, sell, and manage projects for about 200 people a year.

Fortunately, we have also picked up over $1k in OT jobs and have an additional $1k coming up in February.
