(Florida Stats) I will say that there has been an effect to certain micro markets and neighborhoods that have more than average damage from Irma slowing down some transactions because repairs not being completed as fast as people would like and some condo associations/board of directors can't seem to get along well enough to get things fixed.

Some problems that can arise with homes like this especially in colder climates is the lack of winterization and the effect that the weather and time will have on the materials. 

I think the downturn is going to be temporary and will effect everyone, but who knows.

I have no debt and a credit score of 686 (Was a 740 but due to fraud on a store cards it was maxed out which effect my score).

The vacancy thing I think was a communication issue.

They refused to communicate much and did not pay their last month's rent, saying I should use the security deposit.

When you pull out equity, to invest the cash, it has a snowball effect.
