If it's a tough area consider a metal frame to make it more kick resistant.Paint, darker shades of red, dark blue, buff or white all look presentable, and look like apartment door colors.

Its all smoke and mirrors.Find the 10 highest priced comparable sales (in your appropriate range and maybe a little higher) and look for trends in colors, finishes, etc.

Electrical systems just dont "break"...so not much to do there.Rest is just paint and durable vinyl plank. ( use same brands and colors on all homes, saves on turnover costs)I dont buy homes with 100 year old wood windows, so not much expense there..All city sewers so no septic issues, city water so no well pumps...
