Lots of stupid things could be set up in a trust about property, how long you might be required to hold it before it's actually turned over to you. all kinds of stuff lawyers like suggesting to get fee's out for managing trusts and it's amazing what can be put down on paper. 

I consider that I am lucky to be married to a frugal woman that has been saving money for about 25 years.  

If you could provide a step-by-step (including the time component i.e. 6 months seasoning), that would be amazing.

Thanks to real estate I am able to stand on both of my feet without the support of corporate America. it is amazing to see the fruits of labor for all these years. real estate is the career that I will never be retired from. but it does beat 9 to 5 for any given day by a long shot.
