Taking a loan against your self does not affect your DTI ratio because of the fact that you are borrowing against what is yours.

I believe that the severity of this recession and how it's affect on the real estate market will be dependent on how long the social distancing policies are in place.

I've been told I can apply for unemployment while on furlough so my question is, will this directly affect the refinance process?

Especially if you are doing larger projects where there is more likely for something to go "bad," you don't want one lawsuit in 'Project A' to affect any of your other projects especially when you might have different investor / limited partners for your projects.The general concensus is NOT to use C Corp for and any long term holds because of the double taxation (and I think there was something else about if you were to transfer the property...). 

A bunch of overblown pannic bs is affecting real people negatively.  

Myself being in the business since 75 I have lived and worked through 4 of them and well not sure how much real estate will be affected by this latest one the VIRUS. 

Not everyone's job is affected by an economic downturn.

Let's hope those affected make a speedy recovery and we see a federal program to support those who get behind on their mortgage payments so we don't see a 2008-style mortgage crisis all over again.
