@Chris Reeves if you sent him a written offer, with your signature, and he sent it back, signed with new terms, specifically the higher price and a time deadline, you absolutely had the rights to that up until the end of August 19th.

As far as funding goes I have around 50k liquid right now and a pretty good credit score and my parents are always willing to cosign with me if necessary.
