Now my PM required that I supply. ( it's BS they make money off it) I own a window company I recommend buying double hung or double sliding windows ( vs single hung single sliders) that way if glass breaks you can just take the sash into the shop for 1/3 the price.

Its basically a one inch channel in a truss installed by the factory that 1 inch fire board slides into, and then they use fireproof tape thats like duct tape and you don't even have to fire mud it going up to the deck.Nice job on the rafters, don't see that much in my area, most the framers around here couldn't do a simple 5/12 pitch like that, everything is trusses in my area, they even trusses dormers here.
