It is important to know that ACH processing is a daily overnight process, so even when saying same day settlement and without additional processing done by your institution to process transactions during the day, you will have your funds available on the next banking day.It has been a few years since I studied the rules closely, but to my recollection you could send a PPD transaction 1 to 5 days in advance of the effective date.
