Reminds me of the 1970s.

But I somehow get through them, and my heart is gladdened again every time a tenant tells me that I'm the best landlord they've ever had, that they really appreciate how I work with them.Thank you for reminding me of the deeper whys!

Reminds me of the saying “you don’t know what you don’t know”.I have used a non-CPA tax guy for the last several years and I am starting to wonder if I am being underserved.

Twice a year, spring and fall, I send out a reminder that furnace filters should be replaced at least quarterly.

I would send a resisted letter reminding her, about the locks, the painting of the cabinets and the walk way.  

... so many people go with the inspector from their realtor, but their incentive is continual referrals, so of course they want it to pass and go through.. good post, and good reminder for everyone! 

They remind me of the times I've stayed in the absolute nicest 5-star hotels. 

They leave their garbage behind because they can't bear to be reminded of how much of their life has been wasted collecting it, and they want a clean break with the past.

I would also remind them of the lease clause which prohibits alterations without your approval.

I think you simply need to move past this amicably and remind him that he must report things that need repair.
