Thanks for the mention Marcia,I have been sold out of my Aussie portfolio for quite sometime now and with the numbers I am buying in Ohio (I feel like a kid in a candy store), my opinion would be too bias lolIMO the Australian real estate market is very expensive and the numbers just don't work.This is just my 2 AUD worth hahaThanks and have a great day.

They keep the house so cold I can't stay inside for more than a few minutes and I'm there every month to collect the rent.The tenant is sending me text messages that they need it fixed, accompanied with "We have kids in the house".I really don't know what to do as 2 companies have now told me it's working fine.

Among those who can afford the place, there are four types of people I categorize: a. working single guys. b. part-time working students (but there is one group particularly polite) c. stable family with two older kids. d. section 8 family with younger kids.

Overall, we had 8 applicants the first day, and we ended up renting it to a young family that had called first - made 4x the rent, had a kid in the school across the street, and had parents, friends, and other family in the same neighborhood.
