One of the best things to start out is to find an agent in the area you're going to invest in who is experienced in working with out of state investors and build a team. interview PM'S contractors and lenders in that area and then you're ready to start your search for properties.

Further, some of the new construction is tricky in that the builder will finance the construction but you immediately have to get a mortgage once it is built.

No mortgage, so can skip the insurance (is it a good idea at all?).

Has anyone recently had a successful BRRRR and is willing to share their team, including a realtor, general contactor, and lender?
