I don't own any commercial property but I was shocked to find this Extreme Socialism leaning mentality in our state of WA.

My mentality was that these tanks were there for easily 30+ years and old but still standing strong, and what is another 3 months until I can convert them?

We changed our mentality from "woe is us" to "how do we improve this property and reduce our stress level? 

Last fall I attended a three day seminar put on by Rich Dad Education, but because of the steep price (and some mental red flags that went up during the seminar), I declined to sign up for any of them.The first warnings started sounding as things got underway the first day when we were forbidden to network with anyone during or outside of the classroom, we weren't to challenge any of the ideas of the instructor, nor were we to conduct "research" on our own by using the Internet.

So investor thinks with a CA mentality buys and thinks they got this smoking deal when in fact they have paid at market or probably higher than market..

I have 45 units and self-manage, the thought of doing so is exhausting in itself.

These investors don't realize that there is more value in sharing than there is in hiding.But yes, there are plenty of people who have a scarcity mentality and believe that there is more value in secrecy than in transparency.

It is time for my family and I to seek out new career and income, and owning a / or a few rental properties had always been at the back of my mind (be your own boss mentality). 

I want to find a realtor that has the mindset of an investor, not the mentality of the first-time homebuyer.
