Which begs the question - if Realtor B has done so much work for the seller, why didn't the seller use Realtor B in the first place?

Hello I dont know how to do all the rennovations I see my brothier doing at his rental project, I just feel like at a base leval I dont know anything no matter the history and work, how am I going to buy my first deal when I dont know ****  pleas help me dial it out of this hell  refering to the rehab skills mainlyhow to deduct all deffered maintances and otherwise I make 1k a mouth but what happens when a major rennovation takes place

I'm working on getting my first piece of property and am now looking in Buffalo, NY which is ~6 hour drive from where I live.

It truly is a treasure trove of information.Anyhow, I am posting because I want to connect with people who have successfully done STR for their first investment.

So over 2 years ago I bought my first investment property.

In my opinion, talking with the tenants is always the first and best course of action.

I want to first point out that the property needed renovation after apparently a storm that damaged the foundation of the home and it took about 7 months and a great deal of money to fix.

First, the system is old and I am not sure if I can even get parts for it any longer.

My first question to protect you and the property owner is are you licensed and insured to be able to manage someone else's property?

I have spent quite some time learning, researching and preparing for my first Short Term Rental.
