I doubt it, but we shall see.but to answer your question, I invested in some MPG increasing items for my truck. it's a V8 that now gets over 21mpg if I go easy on the throttle. thats as good and better then most V6 SUV's and trucks.we also drive my wife's car more often on weekends. which gets close to 30, and sometimes more mpg.even as I expect gas prices to drop before this happens, I am savings to buy a hybrid Silverado in the next few years. i think I read that Chevy may release a real one as early as 2007-08.
