We're looking for a brokerage that has no sales goals/quotas (or 1 sale/yr to maintain active status), no or minimal monthly fees, flat fee, no expectations of meetings or working from an office, but enough of a presence to answer basic questions as needed.If you have any folks you'd like to recommend that meet all (or most) of the criteria above, please share.

. , If you take the money out of the equity line of credit ( it is not called HELOC if it is not your home), there are few treatments. 1) If you invest the money taken out in the investment or other business, the interest is deductible in that business activity, not at you rental activity. 

Trying to find deals in Chicago is extremely tough and although I am a new investor I've realized that if you want an actual "deal" where the numbers work, especially for a buy and hold play, one has to be creative and look to unconventional methods to source deals.

Well I said that I have training and am actively seeking a job in that field and I can provide a professional resume to apply for a position, but his attitude drastically changed and no longer speaks to me and avoids me.Is this because he has no training but just landed the job by luck? 

For a first property and trying to play it fairly conservative I think we've got a good deal here.
