The substantial income it generates helps us offset the cost of providing affordable housing for our senior tenants and others with fixed income.

Looking back, I wish I had known about Fund and Grow (or others like it) who can allegedly get you the same type of funding without affecting your personal credit score, but that's for a different forum.We've been working with a loan officer from Citizens bank for our cash out refi so we can start working on the next deal and everything appeared to be in order, but he called us today and said there would be a problem getting approved for the mortgage since our LLC is listed as the owner on the title and not one of our personal names.

But I imagine they can open an account for any US citizen.  

After talking to 3 people (presumably newer assistants/junior agents), I asked to talk to the senior agent and it took about 2 mins for her to tell me that they would cover me for a residential property policy.It wasn’t that I didn’t like the answer that I was getting from the people I talked to.

Most of the time it's a no go for a non US citizen living abroad to get a mortgage on a US property.

They are seniors.
