that is something a real estate agent can help with. plus once u start searching for leads u will need to be able to determine a value and after repair value which a agent can also help with. and an agent can also give u a list of properties owned by absent owners, and that can be the first list u target to find some deals!

It seems like most sites don't give you any more than a public records search would yield, but this site purports to connect with you with people who actually have money to lend right now. 

I have done the Google-due-diligence, but I am looking for anyone that has direct experience.

I would suggest you set up a website also with a nice clean simple landing page to generate leads.Then you can direct your Facebook Ads or Google Adwords campaigns there and it also ads credibility.Twitter and Instagram both have paid marketing tools as well that you can utilize to build an online presence.

@Melonie Dickson   Unless someone is an expert and has the cash to solve any problem I would highly recommend they get title insurance.In general, a title insurance company will have a title search done.

I am currently searching the market South of Portland, Oregon to house-hack a small multifamily property, preferably a triplex or quad.

In a very large search area of North/northwest vegas it was slim pickings. 

Since you seem averse to using debt leverage (very bad idea, by the way), you may try searching Bigger Pockets for an Apartment Syndicator in your area to invest with.
