@Brian Dickerson what you are running into is the agents are trying to fit the rental into your personal home and auto program instead of just writing a separate commercial policy for the rental.

Other books I enjoyed that would help you are: Investing in Real Estate, by Gary Eldred, The ABCs of Real Estate Investing by Ken McElroy, and probably my favorite was Landlording on Auto-Pilot, by Mike Butler.
