These are GREAT sources of information.I'd recommend getting a property or two before you dive too deeply into things like business structure or insurance beyond a "Landlord's Policy", and that requires a property first.  

I have no experience in using crowdfunding as a source of financing, but as an investment type, it has worked very well for me.  

I read  How to Make Big Money in Small Apartments by Lance Edwards as well and I got to thinking about it and something a mentor told me that to really learn things you need to go to more than one source.

I have just over 1000.That's really the only list "source" that I even know about.

I don't know about you but it can be hard to source a painter on demand!

Then I just list in free sources or with a realtor.
