We are working on a 1976 vintage house with two bathrooms that fell into that category. 

We use vertical blinds over sliding glass doors.For our vintage homes we sometimes use roller shades to match the era of the house.In addition, we install nice decorative curtain rods in living rooms.

We are low keyed folks, drive older vintage vehicles (which I love), and do what we love at this stage of our lives.  

Sure one in a thousand an investor will get lucky and find a property today at vintage pricing of years ago.Don't ask a broker or agent to spend hundreds of hours or more to look a needle in a haystack.

Many people put extra layers but not recommended and not legal.3 - I don't know any banks that will finance a mobile home of this vintage.

Those vintage buildings carry a ton of other type problems besides know and tube such as asbestos,lead paint, galvanized plumbing, cast iron sewer,etc.Paying 3,000 for an inspection could save hundreds of thousands down the road in costs.

“Investors” are looking to park their money in assets and most times are overpaying.I am looking at C vintage properties B and C+ neighborhoods in Indianapolis and KC.

We have a couple of Victorian / Edwardian vintage house which have been divided into multiple units.  

I'm out on a one year sabbatical with my wife and two small children, traveling the US in a vintage Airstream visiting national parks and other places.I've thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail and cycled across America, and in the future I'm aiming to one day paddle the length of the Danube River and sail around the Americas.
