If your company goal is to buy and hold real estate and develop, I think that will keep you plenty busy and just skip flip projects. 

Take for example the lack of productivity where construction projects often experience time and cost overruns, rework or quality concerns. 

Example: invest in syndications / short-term rentals / oil & gas wells / solar projects / conservation easements, and so on, due to the tax losses they generate.

Leveraging the equity from your house hack for future investments, whether in STRs or larger multi-family properties, is a strategic plan, but ensure your initial property performs well before taking on bigger projects like flipping.
