Hey Cooper,Kingsway West and Academy can be dangerous areas... the Delmar divide is a general rule of thumb, north of Delmar is rundown while south of the street is a lot nicer.

one of the developers across the street from my project is selling 1k sq foot homes for 525k I suspect he has sold a few but you get the point. when lot costs and building cost before you even go vertical are about 250k pretty tough to build anything new that is "affordable." its why condos and townhouses are generally starter or the cheaper housing..

Hey @Jay Ritchie - From our experience here in Chicago, we typically see new water/sewer lines range in cost from $16-24k depending on the depth of the trench, distance from the street to house, and just different contractors.What area of the city are you in?
