Generally, lower level investors try to preserve their costs by entering into limited servicing arrangements which will be a barrier to delinquency and recovery as delinquency and default notices are typically add-on costs to the servicing plan.

The reason for my confusion could be that I read another thread where it was the Reverse Mortgage Institution who was selling the "Owner"-Occupiers property, and the responses there suggested that was nothing out of the ordinary, since the Institution was already paying out that Owner per their reverse mortgage arrangement, and could continue to do so even if THEY sold the property to another party.

It is a pretty complex arrangement and a bit commitment, but a legitimate way to fund a business with retirement capital.  

If they do agree though, you guys can pretty come up with whatever arrangements you want.
