I am looking for additional capital to invest in remodeling, where can I get some funding if the property or business is in Mexico? 

It was difficult to remodel and I had a massive amount of sweat equity. 

An older (60's) remodeled home I bought via New Western for $223 that has a current tenant who pays $1650/mo; it has an apartment above a detached garage that was billed as needing "$10k in repairs to get to top of market rent."

Would the value of the remodel increase the rents or the selling price that would out weight the cost? 

It sat for years and even after the remodel, it’s still sitting.

We have an appraisal gap but I’d rather not have to fork over that capital so I can do some minor remodeling and there’s still a possibility our gap may not be enough.

If I recall, there is also a company offering a similar service. the TV show is based in the Olympia Tacoma Washington market and the homes are basically dated and just need  mainly cosmetic remodel these are not dilapidated houses.. and in that market these homes sell for 500 to 1 mil..
