On the quote, which was explained to me, my fiancé and my realtor, he charged $665 to install 266 sq ft in tile in the kitchen, bath and utility, $600 to remove the tile in the kitchen bath and utility and $300 to remove the shower in the master (which was plastic) and put up backer board for the new shower.

Then at 21 I had a major surgery that left me unable to walk, nearly blind, deaf in one ear, a facial paralysis and medical bills that exceeded 600k.

@Aaron McGinnisI just pulled apart a tenant to patch of a door knob hole in drywall comprised of a plastic shopping bag held in-place with patterned duct tape and covered with plaster-of-Paris.  

Note the dovetail of carcass into the face frame, and no crappy plastic corner brackets.

At first I tapped drop cloths over the windows with finish nails complete with fancy little folds, but on my last house I used that white  painters' plastic and taped it to the exact shape of the glass.

@jd Martin, true copper is old school, but plastic fails, im just given my experience in the plumbing field, true prob not a heat line, but hey u never know I here the south is getting cold lol.

And my boots stuck to the plastic, and started pulling off the tape.

It tends to break down rubbers and some plastics including the coverings on electrical wiring.

They don't read 1 book on how to do surgery and say "I want to do surgery because i saw a show and that's what they were doing".
