We can confirm with them if that is really how they'd like to proceed, but we should not have any moral obligation to stop them from making that decision.

@Angelica Morales I agree with 100% of what @Randy Bloch stated above with one possible exception.If the IRA has enough in bonds (or other asset classes that have not fallen as much) and you wanted to distribute that to start RE investing it could still be a good move.
