Not sure about a project manager, I am pretty hands on with all of my projects, but I would be glad to show you my projects and the process from start to finish.

We move a lot so having a great manager is key for us. 

Additionally, I am looking to transition my career into something more RE oriented, as I am currently a project manager in a media company, and have been in Managerial/HR positions for the past 8+ years in non-RE fields.

My question is when looking for a property manager, is there a different process or type of managers that would looking for?

Another typical positive attribute about doing apartments is having less competition and having more units at a single address.The more units you purchase, the better. 

Im unsure of the NY laws as I'm in Missouri, but from my personal and professional experience a good property manager is worth their weight in gold.

So when i go back to the properties profile i can easily see which tenant is renting out the unit, who the property manager is, and which loan is on that property.....I currently have 5 rentals, so once i figure out what info i SHOULD be tracking on my units myself then i can keep adding it tell its perfect..

My property manager is neighbors with the seller.

My realtor / manager is pretty adamant about taking the buyer as other buyers may be FHA and could take longer, etc.
