U can use a state specific LLC or you can use the WA LLC and register it as a foreign corp.

State LLCs, title companies, paperwork turnaround, agent customs, local banks, insurance.... this part was a little like building relationships in a foreign culture - even words are pronounced differently here.

@Qi Gao I would ask an accountant or an attorney before you do anything as far as structuring an LLC and including a foreign partner but from my understanding You can probably apply for the loan on your own and at the closing table you can do a quit claim deed transferring title to the LLC and or add your partner to the title of the property.

Remember the $800 is for EACH and EVERY LLC.My suggestion is CA LLC makes/applies foreign qualification (i call it domestication) to states of KS “and” IA.Getting an accountant out of state is not such a good move as they are MAY BE not that well versed on CA tax law.
