She'd turn on the propane burner, and it didn't light, and fill the house with propane, or go for a walk outside, and there was a pond and built in pool (she couldnt' see well due to diabetes) When that started I put her in a senior living home 2 blocks away so I could pick her up and bring her over for the day, etc.

I find I'm jumping between markets, both out of curiousity and in an attempt to be exposed to the norms of many different areas.I already have four properties in Indianapolis and in the end, might simply opt to stay in that market since I know it at least marginally better than other random markets I'm researching.

hey guys thanks for taking the time out of your day. so I have some options here I want your opinion about me and my sweetheart are saving bucket loads, she is living with family and I live in a bad area. now once we get married and live together I do not want to expose her to this horrid area it is very very very dangerous for a pretty women.

In that scenario, all of the 401k assets would potentially be exposed, bc the 401k is itself a party to the transaction.

I'm typically the bank (Although not always) hiring asset managers to keep mom and pop investors from blowing up my phone wanting side deals before they hit the market, because I get tired of having to explain to them that my job is to expose my bank owned property to the highest possible buyer pool, so that I can get the highest possible return, which is in direct contrast to your objective, which is the get the best price possible on a property without having to compete.

A vague foreboding that it could all go terribly wrong, that you never really know, that one day we could get a call that the whole building had gone up in smoke, or a giant sinkhole had opened underneath it, or a particularly bad windstorm had flattened it, or bad wiring caused one of the tenants to be electrocuted, or, or, or...We are all afraid of failure, and worst of all, failure right at the beginning of something, a failure that completely exposed our incompetence for all the unkind people we all know to laugh at behind our backs.
