I’ve enjoyed hosting short-term rentals in the past and would love to share this home with others, as I’ve put a lot of effort into preserving it.

As such, one of the things I enjoy doing is doing deep due diligence on deals and sharing those deals that pass with everyone to make it easier to take that first step.

The area does not have explicit rules on STRs so its a gamble with that strategy.

We've been going to Edisto Beach or Harbor Island the last few years for a slower pace. we don't really get to be tourist when we are in Charleston we are working.. but we do enjoy the Restaurant scene and its a cool city.

@Allen Moore I really enjoy section 8 or as we call them in NYC programs. 

I've really enjoyed the glue-down laminate planks my flooring company has.

Have you figured out if you plan on using it and the enjoyment factor of owning STR?

Thats not a wise gamble in most cases if there is a market change for any unknown range of factors.
