Take them with a grain of salt, as these are just my own opinions and observations:I tried to invest in a couple duplexes near Kendall Yards (an urban renewal project in an area that was previously locally called "felony flats") two years ago but the financing fell through, which was a shame.

One could keep the external historic charm, but modernize the internal layout.It would be a shame to see it sit empty - but this time, unloved - for another decade, but I do not readily see a profitable way to save it.
