When you allot a minimum 4% (mortggae rate) return on your equity that is $150/month which means the property is generating $200- $250 per month not the $350 - $400 you think..Personally I expect my cash to generate a minimum 10% which in your case would be $375/month.

I would never use them inside the actual unit, and certainly, never use a 'hidden' or 'spy' type camera.Try a changeable door lock code, specific to the individual renting the space for the allotted time--that will keep anyone without that specific code from entering (supposedly).I remember reading about 'noise detectors' that are installed as replacement electric outlets.
