I agree that there are numerous ways to invest in real estate: mobile home parks, self-storage, syndications, STR, MTR, LTR, flipping etc. 

Has anyone had success buying and renting mobile homes in a trailer park

@J Lyftogtin out area you're going to be in a condo that's a 1/1 or mobile type investment.

Some will suck your money right out of your wallet, while others will accelerate your learning and get you into deals faster.

I'm leaning towards the SF home, but my wife is wary of spending that much on a SF home and feels more comfortable spending far less ($200k or less) on a mobile home.

The other is a mobile-home, worth almost nothing, that brings in twice as much money each month due to being paid off.

Also, looking further at the surrounding areas, we found this area to be more mixed than what we were comfortable with, meaning there were mobile homes mixed in with the houses, etc.
