It's a valid question to ask any candidates you interview what systems they use/how they've responded to virtual work.

One of my concerns is that there is supposed to be a warranty on all work performed (3 years), if there are no invoices for work completed - how do I show proof of what work was actually completed.

But I think that competition, rather than discouraging you from building something, can actually serve to validate that the market exists for your product.

I am lined up to close on a property that still has 7 years left of a builders warranty. 

I'd like to get some of my learnings validated here and also have some questions answered as to how I should interpret some other types (like IRR).
