I invest mostly in SFR but also invest in MF through syndications.

If you are a seasoned investor or even a single family home owner who has or "used to" use a property management company for your investments - I would love to have your feedback?

Will need all the typical repairs (flooring, cabinetry, paint, etc. etc. etc.). 

But my tax accountant said it should be considered as portfolio investment income, not passive income.

Besides the benefit of the forms, I do not think the money is well spent) or MLS membership (approximate $190/quarter, which is useful investment)- Brokerage has no trust fund/escrow account.  

Tell me that's not typical.

This is my first investment and planning to invest in multiple properties over the next 5 years get financially independent. please suggest good markets to invest in midwest. i am currently looking in Kansas, Iowa and IL.

We already own a primary residence and vacation home, so this will be seen as an investment property. 

Typically something like this we would coordinate a time when the tenant is out of town traveling etc.Also 3 days for a shower seems excessive.
