Since then I’ve done various remodels/improvements to two homes I’ve owned, three that my in-laws owned, and helped my dad rebuild his house from the ground up after losing the home I grew up in to a fire.

Once studio was completely remodeled and turned into an airbnb and the other 3 units are rented long-term.

This remodel will run my bank account dry, or very close to it.

Front home sits on a corner lot at 1235 sqft, has 2 bedrooms + den, new tile around tub in bathroom, 1 yr old HVAC, new paint & remodeled kitchen.

. $59,500 is the Mortgage and we had a personal loan of 22K at 8.49% , with another bank for 7 yrs (1.5 yr ago), initially for travel and remodel our first home, but reading and researching more of finance lately we decided not to remodel our current home and used part of it (10.5K) as the down payment for the 2nd home (currently being renovated) .
