I really would like to move out of this home due to mental health issues (lost a loved one in the home, and it makes it hard to be here).

They prioritize creating a sense of community and well-being, which aligns with their core values.

I would say if you wanted to make the most wealth then prioritize investing in yourself above all else (and don't expect it to be passive).

But, not to be mean but mentally he can be kind of slow so, probably not.

That being said, I am going in with that type of mentality.

The operator has much more "control" if purchased correctly w/value add mentality to "create" value, so that a sideways market is not as relevant.  

Plus having one property in an area you no longer live is just going to occupy mental real estate as long as you hold it and the juice isn't going to be worth the squeeze!

But you're going to find yourself in a mental dilemma with every property you look at because it's not going to cashflow enough (compared to midwest properties that tend to not appreciate) and it won't appreciate at the rate you want it to to get your capital back (like what we typically see here on the west coast).
