I was wondering if anyone here had successfully used a hard money loan to finance an STR?

Assumptions: 5 year term. 80% LTV, Financing ~600K with an appraised value of 800K. $2,000/mo net cashflow. 

I moved out of area and in late 2023 I bought another house ( financed) in my new city & it is my primary residence.

IF you don't have the balls or finances to weather that kind of time frame, go buy some equities or govt debt. 

Conduct due diligence to uncover any potential legal liabilities.Overleveraging: Excessive debt or aggressive financing structures may leave little room for unforeseen expenses or market downturns.

Also, have to investigated financing options?

If you want people to send you deals, you need to post a budget, expected ROI and how you'd finance.
