Even if there was a formal assumption (not likely to get approved) you would still retain liability behind the LLC for the loan.This is true, you are still legally liable for the loan, but it is through a personal guarantee which would not cause the blurring of the lines in a situation where someone would want to 'pierce the corporate veil.'

They said we were the ones to delay the closing, which was true, and they thought we were going to sell.

The opposite is also true!

I can't immagine that they can get you stuff sooner than a retail store or home depot or get you better pricing, seems to good to be true.
