California is NOT one of those states that exempts this type of lending.. there might be a small carve out for a few loans a year privately done but if you hold yourself out as a lender your need a license.

Hey @JorgeMagana we had a great experience with them, The change in accounting and amended return cost us around $2k so we ended up getting a check for almost 30k. 

Not a flow thru entity like a LLC would be treated in the USA. 

neighbors fought us because it was a Timber stand ..

So that was a low hurdle to improve on.

Invest in a relatively close, lower-cost market.
