Organic rent growth is increases in rents which are not derived from renovating units and pushing rents, but rather are simply derived from increasing demand in the local market or year-over-year inflation factors driving prices up.

Inflation is usually followed by a recession, and in this case, it is looking like it will.

Of course, this was accomplished, in part, by printing enormous amounts of money which we're starting to see the effects of as inflation ticks up.
