Together, they have a lot of units in play there and have done very well with long-term rents and mid-term as well.

I’m not so concerned with how to turn them on, it’s more what immediate issues may I encounter when doing so and how can I mitigate them.

I do this with my only out of state property.

Agree, Ring or some other camera monitoring  system, security systems will  have issues with alarms &  beeping and other issues which might be a nuisance for guests. 

You can even ask them or do a poll with past tenants.

If your area is still good for arbitrage, good for you but be careful with the lease you negotiated with your property owner.

Or your can buy multiple properties with small mortgages.
