They saw lots of pictures online and we exchanged many emails.Within 10 minutes of getting here the wife suddenly became very picky;  she decided she didn't like "those people" in the neighborhood (the house is in a small subdivision with large lots; no body walks around outside so I'm not sure what "those people" she even saw), the appliances were too old, the counters were not granite, she didn't like the light fixtures.

The house value drops to $220k-$230k, and all of a sudden I have negative equity.THE QUESTION to you is: Should I remain in my current house and see what the market does, OR, should I jump on this larger house (take advantage of today's rates) and hope the market at least remains where it's at?

Or at best, "dual agency" or "transaction brokerage" (your state laws may vary) - so if a broker that gets 10 - 12 listings from a bank - all of a sudden (if you have that listing broker OR SOMEONE THAT WORKS FOR THEM, write the contract) - they are then magically supposed to become "neutral" - I don't see in the real world how that happens!
